Ladi Lawal

Ladi’s expertise are in corporate finance and global financial markets and is particularly interested in helping organisations develop sound and effective financial strategies that will help them create Value and Wealth. Ladi has a very good understanding of contemporary issues in corporate finance and the practical exposure needed to apply most of the theories. Ladi is an Active Trader of various financial instruments including equities, bonds, currencies, indexes, commodities and derivatives, and he regularly provides consultancy on global financial markets. Ladi was a Trader with Deutche Bank Alexandra Brown, a major international broker based the U.K. and IFX Markets from 1999 to 2005. Ladi is also an Executive Development Consultant at Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, U.K.
Nigel Walton
Operations Director & senior consultant
with expertise in strategic management, innovation and corporate policy formulation. Prior to joining Birmingham Management Centre, Nigel worked with a large American Multi-national company in South America for over ten years. He also worked as an independent management consultant providing strategic management advise to a broad range of private and public sector organisations in Europe. More recently, his focus has been in the small and medium enterprise (SME) providing coaching and start-up advice to new and growing companies in the U.K. Nigel is an Associate Lecturer at both Open University Business School and University of Worcester, and he is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultancy in the UK.
Richard Payne

Prior to joining Birmingham Management Centre, Richard spent many years working within human resources for many blue-chip companies in the U.K. He has significant experience running courses, seminars and workshops up to director level within organisations in the UK and regularly contributes articles to academic journals and magazines. He is a member of several management professional organisations and an Executive Development Consultant at Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, U.K.
Hao Zhang
Director & Senior Consultant
Trained as a financial and legal economist, Hao is a distinguished academic and Senior Lecturer at Leeds University Business School. He has published original research in leading scholarly journals including Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Services Research, International Journal of Project Management, Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting and Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance. Hao is also an expert on Chinese Markets and is currently involved with projects in the Far East. He is the Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee of the American Accounting Association and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of International Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. Hao speaks fluent Chinese.
Mohammed M. Abdullahi

Abdullahi’s expertise are in administration of public enterprise, contract management and communication strategy. He is interested in promoting effective and efficient administrative and management processes in public organizations as well as effective communication through the design and implementation of purposeful communication strategy that can facilitate the creation of value and wealth in organizations. Abdullahi was a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria for almost 25 years and was Head of Corporate Communications of the Bank during the historic banking reforms that led to the modernization of the banking industry in Nigeria. He is credited with designing the first ever Communication StrategyDocument for the Bank. He was the Administrator of Procurement and Support Services Department and finally Head of Enterprise Content Management up to the time he retired in 2015.
Arthur Walton
Senior Associate Consultant with BMC
Arthurhas worked as a procurement consultant for a broad range of UK government departments and agencies including the DFID (formerly ODA), Crown Agents, Home Office, HM Treasury and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He has also provided procurement consultancy advice in a large number of foreign countries on behalf of international agencies such as the United Nations (UNDP), the U.S. AID, the World Bank and the OECD. Arthur has been the senior project leader for procurement projects in Turkey, Nigeria, Romania, Sudan, the Gambia, Indonesia, Jamaica, Chile and China. More recently he has been responsible for the implementation of a centralised procurement system for a national network of private hospitals in the Republic of Ireland on behalf of the Independent Hospital Association of Ireland (IHAI). This involved the centralisation and computerisation of procurement procedures for all goods and services and the establishment of appropriate network systems. Arthur’s expertise also extends to supply-chain management where he has extensive experience consulting for US and EU organisations in supply-chain issues.
Stuart Walton

Prior to joining BMC, Stuart was an independent consultant providing Contract Management and Contract Services to a variety of clients including Central Governments in the UK and Continental Europe, International Relief Agencies and the UK Private Sector. Prior to becoming an Independent Consultant several years ago, Stuart worked as Operations Director for a number of multi-site organizations with responsibility for all aspects of Operational Control, Development along with Procurement and Contract Services. Mohammed Choudhary

is senior consultant with expertise in accounting and finance. Mohammed is a chartered accountant and holds PhD in Accounting from the University of Exeter. He has taught at many UK premier universities including Cass Business School, and Middlesex University both in London. Mohammed facilitates accounting and finance programmes involving delegates from UK and overseas banks. He regularly contributes articles in reputable academic journals.

Lara is an experienced Enterprise Architect and IT Consultant (SC) with strong proven background in architecture, analysis, design and implementation of IT systems, a problem solver capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions for large and complex Financial and Government organisations. Lara is analytical in her approach and capable of mapping highly complex business processes and requirements onto IT strategies and architectures. Lara possesses recent brown and green field experience defining, developing and implementing IS strategy for large UK Central Government Departments.
Abimbola Oladapo

is a Senior Associate Consultant with Birmingham Management Centre. Abi is a qualified Accountant and MBA with an interest in a business analyst role as it offers a platform to help put into practise his experience in helping organisations improve their performances. By virtue of his finance and consulting backgrounds, he has been involved in the end-to-end transformation process from analysing and documenting business requirements to implementing a solution for the client. Abi possesses recent brown field experience defining, developing and implementing information systems for large UK government and finance organisations. These include several UK Central Government Departments, IBM, Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) Group plc and other blue chip companies.
